iPhone Hotspot not Showing Up or Hotspot not Working
If you need help using the Modem Mode feature or iPhone Hotspot not working. After each action, check if the problem is resolved. Follow these steps:
- Make sure that Modem Mode is turned on in the Settings -> Modem Mode section. If you cannot find or enable the “Personal Hotspot” parameter, check if your mobile operator supports this mode and whether it is included in your tariff plan;
- Restart your iPhone or iPad, working in modem mode, as well as the device that you want to connect to it;
- Make sure you are using the latest version of iOS;
- On an iPhone or iPad operating in modem mode, select Settings -> General -> Reset and click “Reset Network Settings”. After the reset, you will need to re-configure the mobile Internet and modem mode.
In the end, if you still need help, try connecting the “Personal Hotspot” device in a wired way, if possible.
