Surely there have been situations where you needed to reply to an e-mail message, but it is not possible to do this: for example, you are on vacation or there are simply no means of communication at hand. Of course, the iPhone autoresponder will not be able to respond to the contents of the letter, however, it is quite realistic to make an automatic reply of the kind “I am not in place, I will answer later”. Let’s set up:
- Open the Settings -> Accounts & Passwords on your iOS device;
- Select the email account to configure the auto-reply for;
- Click on Auto-reply at the bottom;
- Set the End date;
- Fill Away Message section, set your desired automatic email response text;
- Setup completed.
Now, upon receipt of any incoming letter, a reply letter with your text will be sent. In order to make sure that everything works as it should, you can send yourself an email as a test.
