With the release of macOS Mojave in the operating system for Apple computers, a new Finder function called “Quick Actions” has appeared, which allows you to quickly edit files without having to open them in special programs. This is what this article is about.
Quick Actions with Images, Video and Audio
In order to familiarize yourself with the available quick actions, you need to activate the preview panel in Finder. To do this:

The quick actions you can take with a file depend on the nature of the file itself:
- For example, if you are dealing with a rotate image, after clicking on “Rotate Left” the image will rotate counterclockwise;

- If you click on “Add Layout”, a quick view window will open with the appropriate tools for editing images.
Conclusion
I can say that Apple with each release of its OS is achieving ever greater perfection and ease of use. Previously, for the same actions, you had to open the Preview app, now everything has become much easier!
