The standard Mail application for iOS has all the functions for full-fledged work with e-mail and can support several mailboxes at once. But what to do if to look through mail in one of the boxes is no longer necessary?
Everything is simple – you need to remove useless accounts in the device settings:
- Open the Settings;
- Scroll down and tap Passwords & Accounts. This option is located in the middle of the page with Settings;
- Select an account. In the “Accounts” section, tap an email account (for example, “Gmail”) that you want to delete from iPhone;
- Scroll down and click Delete Account. This is the red button at the bottom of the page;
- Click Delete Account, when prompted.
Warning!!! The account and associated data will be deleted.
Please note that any contacts, notes, letters, and calendar stamps that are synchronized with your email account will be deleted from your iPhone.
