What is iCloud?

- Open your device “Settings”.
- Scroll down and click on “Passwords & Accounts” in settings menu.
- In there, find “iCloud” and sign in with your TouchID or password.
- Click “Sign Out” to remove it from your device.
- Confirm your decision and consider your job done.
Remember when you delete your account can’t access your files in the iCloud until you sign in again with the same ID you were using before. All data is erased from the phone but not from the iCloud itself. You can access your data from any other device too by using your iCloud ID.
How can we switch to different iCloud ID in iPhone/iPad?
Switching lets us change one iCloud account to another in one device. It is unsafe though. You should not change your iCloud account in one device many times. It can lead you to face problems if you don’t have details for your Apple ID. Although it is simple to switch from one account to the other.

- Choose “iCloud”.
- If you don’t have an ID, you can “Create a new Apple ID”.
- If you have it, just sign in with your Apple ID (email and password).
Now, you can add your new pictures, videos and all your data in it. Using a single iCloud ID on two different devices can help you find data from both devices. So, two users can access the same data from their own devices without being physically near each other. Most of the users do this to keep an eye on their kids.
If you are using it for personal use, then don’t use your ID on someone else’s device. It can cost you to lose your privacy. If you want to be safe always use single ID in your iPhone/iPad. It ensures better performance of your device and helps your contacts to be there if you saved them to your iCloud. You cannot access your contacts synchronized to iCloud after removing your account from your device.
Resetting your iPhone/iPad if Above Given Solutions Fail
There is another way of removing your iCloud if both above-given tricks don’t work. It is not the best one though. Yes, I am talking about resetting your device to the factory settings.
This will remove you iCloud Account from your device. This will also delete other important data with it. This is surely not the best thing you want.
So, apply this one only if you couldn’t find a way to delete iCloud from your device.
- Open “Settings” and scroll down and click on “General”.
- Click on “Reset”.
- Choose “Erase All Content and Settings”
